You can blame it on her slight Bollywood obsession, but a certain someone on our team has been in love with the idea of a blue wedding lehenga ever since she watched the classic Ram-Avtar in the 80's. Sridevi stunned in colour that was completely unheard of at weddings at the time. For today's bride blue isn't such a risque choice, but still a colour that makes heads turn and is non-traditional.

We also love the contrast pieces designer Pam Mehta has done in blue. A contrasting dupatta is always such a pretty look on brides. You can see more of Pam's work here

We've shared this one before, but if we are talking about blue wedding lehengas and contrast colors, we couldn't help sharing it again.

So this last one by Neeta Lulla might be more appropriate for a ladies sangeet or garba party, but we also think it could work for a destination wedding or a slightly eclectic bride.
