As you might have already guessed, we love everything to do with desi weddings. This means we are always reading about, thinking about, and talking about all things weddings. So when we noticed a fun round up on our Editor's personal blog called 3 Things Thursday we were inspired to join the party and share 3 Things we are loving in the world of weddings this week.

{One} Ali Xeeshan at Lahore Fort

We admit, we are a little late to the Ali Xeeshan party, but we are still completely smitten by this photo shoot done at Lahore Fort. The regal outfits, the stunning location, and the photography it's all perfect.

If you are interested in learning more about Ali Xeeshan's bespoke bridal collections or seeing more designs, you can connect with his team via Facebook.

{Two} Khanaks Jewellery

We happened to stumble onto Khanaks Jewellery on Facebook one day and were instantly hooked! First off all the name is perfect - inspired by the Indian word 'khanak' that means the 'sweet sound of bangles', and secondly the kundan based designs are beautiful and affordable.

We are particularly fond of the paisley inspired earrings, perfect to wear to wedding related events, and mix and match with your western wardrobe.

Chantecaille Rosewater

{Three} Pure Rosewater Mist from Chantecaille

This is the must have trousseau item of the year! We all know the intoxicating power of a pure rosewater, and no one takes as much care in preparing rosewater as Chantecaille. This rosewater is made from a rare rose called the Rose de Mai which only blooms once a year in Provence, and the scent is heavenly.

Planning a wedding is a stressful task and you want to be relaxed and enjoy the day. A few sprays of this rosewater on your face between events, and before the big moment will keep your skin glowing and nerves calm. In Canada Chantecaille products are available exclusively at Holt Renfrew.

Do you know of a product or vendor we should feature in an upcoming 3 Things Thursday post? We'd love to hear about it! Send our editor an email at raj (at) with a link to the product or webpage.
